Gut leakage markers in response to strenuous exercise in patients with suspected coronary artery disease

چکیده

Abstract Introduction Although regular physical activity is associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), acute vigorous exercise seems to transiently increase the coronary events in patients underlying CVD. Some studies have reported associate microbial diversity, whereas elevated levels gut leakage markers been shown after strenuous healthy individuals. Any predictive value a temporary on susceptible individuals unknown. Purpose We aimed explore response bout symptoms chronic syndrome (CCS). hypothesized that would exercise, and be higher angiographically verified CAD. Methods Patients referred stress testing or angiography due suggestive CCS were included (n=327). A maximal ECG test was performed using bicycle ergometer. Venous blood samples drawn at rest prior within 5 min ended, for analysis soluble cluster differentiation 14 (sCD14), lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) intestinal fatty-acid binding (I-FABP) by ELISAs. Quantification lipopolysaccharide (LPS) relative quantification gene expression toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) circulating leukocytes subset (n=101). then underwent angiography, grouped according degree Results Of 287 who completed 69 (24%) had no CAD, 88 (31%) non-significant CAD 130 (45%) significant Mean duration 10:05±4:46 did not differ between groups. There differences resting In total population, sCD14, LBP LPS increased significantly (p<0.0001, all), I-FABP not. The TLR4 decreased (p<0.0001). exercise-induced changes any measured groups Conclusion CCS, LPS, sCD14 suggesting even short bouts are leakage. decrease may discussed compensatory possibly reflecting an translation LPS. presence seem impact markers. THALLIUM-201 STRESS TEST IN 156 PATIENTS WITH SUSPECTED CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE

Currently, myocardial TI-201 scintigraphy is most often performed in conjunction with exercise stress testing in patients with suspected or known CAD. Stress thallium tests were performed for 156 patients with and without old myocardial infarctions complaining of chest pain. All of them underwent contrast coronary angiography. Perfusion defects were mostly manifested as reversible defects ...

Evaluation of iron status in patients with coronary artery disease

Background: Iron can causes lipid peroxidation in vivo and in vitro. Iron  promotes myocardial injury in experimental animals. Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation by oxidants including iron have a central role in atherosclerotic process. By this means, evaluation of serum iron in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) has a significant importance. Materials and Methods: In this cross s...

value of coronary artery calcium scoring in iranian patients suspected to coronary artery disease.

coronary artery calcium scoring (cacs) is a reasonable test for patients with the possibility of atherosclerosis. it can also be used for reclassifying the coronary artery disease (cad) to the high-risk status by higher cacs and subsequently modifying the management of the patients.the purpose of this study was to investigate the association of cacs to the severity of coronary artery disease in...

The prognostic value of stress/rest gated myocardial perfusion SPECT in patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease

Introduction:Gated myocardial perfusion SPECT has diagnostic and prognostic values in coronary artery disease (CAD). We tried to determine prognostic values of the left ventricular perfusion & functional indices as well as transient left ventricular dilation (TID) derived from gated myocardial perfusion SPECT. Methods: 1820patients who underwent gated myo...
